The fourth British Wool Sale of the 2010/11 Season was held by the British Wool Marketing Board at Wool House and offered 1,558,138 kilos. Following on from the previous strong sale the market continued to climb with virtually a full clearance. Compared to the last time sold Pick and Supers 2-3% dearer Halfbred Hogs 5% dearer, Wethers 2.5-3% dearer Crosses 2-3% dearer Red Kempy and Light Grey Radnor 10% dearer, all other Radnor types 3-5% dearer Welsh 3.5-7% dearer The first offering of the season for Swaledale saw good competition resulting in very encouraging prices.
